Our Mission
Code 3 Retreat's mission is to provide a strong and inspiring experience for those who have dedicated their lives to the service of others.
This organization is a 501(c)(3) that serves first responders.
The idea of a first responder retreat came from another first responder and came to fruition with assistance from Rick Ward, with Benchmark Mortgage, who helped put a team of dedicated first responders together from all walks of life to breathe life into creating this annual retreat.
This retreat was created to provide an inspiring place for First Responders to get away and relax and also enjoy the healing effects of the outdoors. Our retreat covers all costs for our chosen First Responders and during their time with us on the ranch they will enjoy different activities such a private chef, time to explore the ranch via hiking/walking/or via UTV, Ax Throwing, Corn hole, Skeet shooting, Sushi making class, massages, and other activities.
Our Retreat
We have been able to do two retreats so far! Our first retreat was in June 2023 and our second retreat was March 11-14, 2024 and both of them were a HUGE success. We have been able to serve 17 total First Responders so far and spoil them for a few days at Mountain Top Ranch!
Our next retreat is now planned and we are ready to go and we are actively raising money via donations to start preparations for our next retreat!
We will be bringing more First Responders to the ranch again March 10-13, 2025!

The Venue
Our retreats have been hosted at Mountain Top Ranch in Meridian, Texas. Mountain Top Ranch is over 1,200 acres and provides a tranquil place for first responders to feel like family with fellow first responders to relax and revive. We look forward to another incredible experience at the Ranch in 2025!
This ranch features a ranch house, casitas, common area with a commercial kitchen, dining space and more. Mountain Top Ranch has a great place inside to relax by the fire and a large fire pit outside for those cozy nights. Participants will be able to enjoy all aspects of this ranch!
